Dear Amit,
Thanks for providing a platform to discuss our identity. Our past glory can not be restored if we criticize others. Rajput and Kshatriya words are not synonyms. Rajput means sons of Kings and Kshatriya means warriors. Rajputs ruled the country being son of Kings of different origins while Kshatriyas perform their Kshatra Dharm means savior of common man as their duty. In ancient history we find Rajput no where and they came in Indian political arena after fall of Harshvardhan’s empire. All the persons who use Kushwaha, Shakya, Maurya, Saini etc titles are branches of Suryavansh (Ikshaku Vansh). Brahman scholars tried to demean us because we consider ourselves superior to them. Ancient Kshatriyas established their own religions (Buddhist and Jain) in answer to Brahmin’s work. Ancient Books describe Kshatriya to only us but still some forces want to humiliate and divide us. As per ancient Buddist Text ‘Mahaparinibbana Sutta’, when Moriyas (Mauryas) of Pipalivan came to know that at Kusinara, Shakyamuni Bhadrakachchha Tathagat Gautam Buddha had passed away, they sent a message to the king of Malla dynasty of Kusinara, saying: "The Shakyamuni Buddha was a Kshatriya and we are too. We are worthy to receive a portion of the relics of the Blessed One. We will erect a Stup over the relics of the Blessed One and hold a festival in his honor." Rajput may be considered as subcaste of Kshatriyas but there should not be any doubt on our Kshatriya origin. Today we are in transition stage of consolidation process of all branches of Suryavanshi Kshatriyas and like Chandravanshi Yadav, we are seeking for a common title. That may be Kushwaha, Shakya or anything else. Kushwaha has its importance as they believe their origin from Kush; a son of Lord Ram and Shakya has its importance as this title is globally well known due to Bhadrakachchh Shakyamuni Buddha and Mauryan Emperors who were branch of Shakya Kshatriya. We all are one and we should respect each other.
Jai Hind….. Jai Shakya……. Jai Kushwaha………..

For any History its need to be preserved for coming generation , but in mean time there is many attacks of invaders that keep changing the history , same time impact of other religion , Modification these things impact our History at lot , Kshatriya is pure word instead Rajput word itself . Read other articles to know in depth , its a Big topic to discuss , kushwaha are Kshatriya decedents of kush (son of lord ram) which itself shows our identity . whatever being connected i see make fake peoples uses same titles kushwaha , thats effecting our social respect . same titles are used by some other caste like mahto , mehta , maurya these are few examples . its needed uniqueness in our name to be recognize by peoples in our community like Name singh kushwaha . ancient rajputs ( kshatriya) have proper family tree , proper origin , sub clan , gotra m we knows by these things , any one come and says i am Rajput is not like that. soon i will provide more details about various clans of rajputs and their origins too .read articles on website if needed can contact me i will try provide more details ..
